END NOW THE GENOCIDE OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE BY THE STATE OF ISRAEL AND STOP THE BLOCKADE OF THE GAZA STRIP

The genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza writes yet another page in the brutality of the state of Israel. These days, we are witnessing a new escalation in the ongoing attempt to exterminate and commit genocide against the Palestinian people through mass killings of civilians and the famine conditions imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip. This horrific crime, committed in full view of all humanity by Israel against a people struggling to live on their own land, also serves as a clear and exemplary message of terror from the global dictatorship of state power and capitalism to all the peoples of the world. In stark contrast to the world of domination, the international solidarity of the oppressed and exploited across the globe continues to find new ways to cry out loudly: “Palestine means resistance — Freedom for Palestine!
Over the past 77 years, the Israeli state has managed to build a modern apartheid regime — the systematic exclusion of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Through the normalization of terror, it has imposed a widespread system of control, militarization, and repression, becoming a true model of a modern totalitarian regime. From the blockade of Gaza and the wall that encloses it, to the restrictions on movement and the military checkpoints, the destruction of entire areas and their colonization by Israeli settlers, to the brutal repression, continuous bombings, countless arrests, imprisonment, and killings. Israel exemplifies a state model of militarization and domination, a death machine that has been attacking Palestinians for years to force them into submission, so that they accept the military occupation — an occupation they continue to resist with remarkable self-sacrifice. It is a state whose key allies in these pursuits are the leading powers of the Western bloc of domination, which seek to expand their influence and interests in the broader Middle East. In this context, the Greek state — fully aligned with the Western axis of power — is working to further deepen its cooperation with Israel through a series of strategic agreements in the fields of energy, military affairs, and economics.
Since October 7, 2023, following the attack by Palestinian organizations, Israeli forces have audaciously portrayed their sweeping military campaign to expel and annihilate Palestinians as an act of self-defense. The initial airstrikes, followed by a ground invasion of Gaza — one of the most densely populated areas on the planet, already suffering from deprivation and destitution due to the Israeli blockade enforced since 2007 — have led to the murder of over 60,000 Palestinians, including more than 18,000 children, the injury of more than 120,000 people, and the destruction of buildings, hospitals, schools, homes, roads, water infrastructure, and healthcare services. This has resulted in severe power and fuel shortages, critical to agricultural food production, the deprivation of drinking water, and a complete lack of food and medical supplies. Meanwhile, in the West Bank, lethal pogroms, persecution, beatings, and mass dismissals against Palestinians are ongoing.
In recent days, operations aimed at the extermination of the Palestinian people have escalated, as on March 18, 2025, Israel violated the agreed ceasefire, unleashing its murderous fury with continuous assaults and the imposition of widespread famine in Gaza, along with a reign of terror in the West Bank. In Gaza, 98% of the population faces food insecurity, potable water availability per person has dropped by 99%, and 70% of international humanitarian missions have been blocked or banned by Israel. Notable recent examples are the attack on a solidarity aid ship by two Israeli drones in international waters near Malta, the blockade of the Madleen before it could reach Gaza Strip, the use of chemicals against passengers, their abduction in international waters and transfer to Israel, the deportation of five of them, and the detention of the remaining seven crew members. The Freedom Flotilla, in both cases, aimed to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
This genocide is being carried out with the complicity and alliance of Western states, whose lukewarm “humanitarian” statements merely confirm their consent and support for Israel’s actions. At the same time, they maintain political and economic agreements with it, attack solidarity demonstrations worldwide, and criminalize the symbols of the Palestinian people — loudly declaring that in the world of the state and capitalism, there is only one “justice”: that of the powerful, violently imposed on the powerless. In both the U.S. and Europe, states are attacking those who fight against the atrocities unfolding before the eyes of the entire world. Despite state repression, the acts of resistance emerging across the globe safeguard human dignity in the face of the ongoing genocide of a people — against the blatant distortion of reality, of words and their meaning, of history itself; against the silence that these very states attempt to impose by force within their own borders, even as they allow this historic crime to take place.
For our part, we can only stand in full solidarity with the Palestinian people, who continue to fight relentlessly and persistently for their survival, dignity, and freedom — with their only true allies being the struggling peoples of the world. As anarchists, it is these elements of their struggle that we seek to highlight: the ability of the conquered to strike back against an all-powerful occupier, the capacity of the poor and excluded to rise even under the most brutal conditions.
We want international solidarity to create cracks within the foundations of the aggressors’ rule, bringing to the forefront our own history — the history of struggles from below that, against all odds, forge the living reality of freedom and solidarity, standing as the only true barrier against the onslaught of modern totalitarianism. Until the total liberation of all peoples from the chains of state and capital, until the social revolution for a world of equality, solidarity, and freedom.
